Which Way Next?

Sometimes stuck in heart and mind,
we don't know where to walk.
The things we thought were true are blind,
and muted words won't talk.

The test of faith's a painful time
with hope becoming naught,
but searching for the uphill climb
must wait as Christ has taught.

The human ways are rooted out,
that Truth be planted in.
The thoughts of self are filled with doubt.
Just He can save from Sin.

When the way is not yet clearly known,
we wait upon The Way. (John 14:6)
When Wisdom comes from The Bible sown,
it will be plain as day.

If Jesus breaks us, be assured
we will be better, yet.
The test, that we must, now, endure
cannot The Lord beset.
