An 18-year-old adult can be drafted by the military.
But they are not old enough to drink or get a tattoo.
Nevertheless, they are old enough to decide if they want transgender surgery.
Laura Ingraham has said she disapproves of transgender surgery.

Why does an adult decide to chop off genitals?

If a man identifies as a woman, then more power to them.
let them take a shower with the women after they have removed their genitals.
