Waiting for my ride to come
some glad morning, some glad day.
Joy of life will know its sum,
evermore the upward Way.

Waiting for my ride to come.
Lower lights now burning dim.
Better Place than where we're from,
folded in the Arms of Him.

Waiting for my upward ride,
darkened day, e'en with sun lit.
Evermore with Him abide,
dying life be fin'lly quit.

Waiting for the Lord of All,
as my Groom, completing me.
Momentary skyward call,
Lovely Face to fin'lly see.
