15 Years Gone By

Timid peeks,
nervous glances
around a world
of words and wonder.
Begging, bargaining for
acceptance.

Like minded souls,
scribes and lyricists,
friendly smiles.

Sentiments scrawled on tattered scraps,
in faded yellow surrounds.

Dust blankets static items,
an abandoned blog whines for company.
Time flies and memories dim.

Forgotten.

Homecoming,
the prodigal returns, sweeping in with bold smiles,
confident of a welcome.
Gestures given,
freely returned.

As the swirling particles settle
and the chaotic chatter calms,
a  steady  beat  emerges.

Lessons learned,
friendships forged.

Classes, challenges,
sprinting,
             endurance.

Reviews that plumb the deeper depths,
engendering grateful responses.

Leading the way?

Learning.
Always learning.

Confidence vying
with a vast realisation of
         mediocrity.

An addicting daily dabble,
dancing with words.
