There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories. |
Great News, Better News Don’t ask me how I did it, but I did do it. I got my WDC Short Story finished today. True, I barely got it done today, but I still finished writing it. It was a very typical Wednesday for me and my brother. We didn’t have a lot to do today, but what we needed to do took us most of the day to do it. As a result, I didn’t have too much time to write today. I didn’t think that I would get it done today and would have to decide about continuing to work on it tonight at work, taking the chance of not being able to get all three short stories finished this month, or waiting and finishing them at work in a week or two if I needed to do that. Luckily, I didn’t need to make that decision. Finished it today. How did I do that? I don’t know. All I know is that once I started writing, I couldn’t stop until I finished. True, I had some hiccups along the way with keeping it within the two-thousand-word limitation, but even that wasn’t too big of a problem. I still haven’t created it on WDC yet. I’m still not sure if I will do that now or wait for the other two. That was the Great News. The better news is that I don’t have to work on this Short Story at work, and there’s still plenty of time left in this month to write the other two. It also means that I can go back to working on my Water Wars scriptwriting project when I go back to work in less than two hours from now aka midnight Thursday morning. I can’t remember where I left off on the Part One Scene Outline for the Movie Introduction to this Project. all I do remember is that I got thirty-seven single paragraphs written on Saturday and only thirty-five on Sunday. If I also remember right, I got eighteen last Thursday and twenty-two on Friday. If I remember correctly, I should be able to get about twenty single paragraphs tomorrow morning. Give or take a little bit. Of course, that depends on what ailment that happens to me this week. a couple of weeks ago it was my foot, and last week it was my knee. Who knows what the ailment will be this week? I don’t know what it will be, but I’m sure it will be something. Whatever my ailment will be this week, I won’t let it slow me down in my writing. Well, that isn’t exactly true. It may slow me down some, but it won’t keep me from writing. No matter how bad it is. I will keep continuing with my writing. Just don’t know how much of it I will be able to get done. All I do know is that I’m going to get as much writing as I can tomorrow at work. |
