Company's Coming

I raised my son to bring friends home
and from where ever he may roam.
In recent years he's lived afar.
Today he travels with others
coming north are five blue brothers
and on their chest, each wears a star.
They come to honor the fallen,
those brothers whose lives were stolen.
On their way, they'll stop here, sidebar.

"Form of the week: Nove Otto"  
They are motoring up Hwy 1 from LA and were going to spend the night at my home then cross over to Sacramento Saturday afternoon for the procession on Sunday. But now that I am sick they will come here, lock their bikes in my garage and take my car out to dinner and stay in a hotel in town overnight. I won't be going out with them but I will get to see and talk with them in a mask, but no contact, no hugs, social distancing. I'll be wiping down all door handles etc before they arrive. At least I'm feeling a little better but still sick. I thought they would just bypass me but he called and said they are coming anyway. They don't seem concerned. I'm the only one worried.
