Dreams

The cajole of distant dreams
with their tantalising gleams,
they entice with sweet appeal
like a spinning Catherine wheel.

Every flash and sparkle tempts
and seductively torments,
offers possibilities
all designed to charm and tease.

I could yearn and dream all day
but have little time for play,
just a moment in the midst
to extend my bucket list.
