365 Days of Blessing _ April 8, 2023

Dear God,

I love You Father. Your commands are alive, and powerful when they are taken to the heart. In my heart, as I fear You, Your Word becomes a weapon and a shield against all that is evil and corrupt in this world. I am blessed as one who has Your Word living in me as I enter the marketplace, the neighborhoods, the various walks of life. Your Word is a watch even in my sleep and a voice speaking life in me as Your child, awakening to the glorious wonders of a new day.

Proverbs 6:20-22


My son, keep your father’s commandment, and forsake not your mother’s teaching,
bind them on your heart always; tie them around your neck.

When you walk, they will lead you; when you lie down, they will watch over you; and when you awake, they will talk with you.

I desire to carry Your Word with me. I will give Your word of Life a greater portion of my day and night. Because my love for You grows more and more with each moment of meditation on Your truth. I will hold Your word closer to my heart and imagination. Thank You for being my help in all my reverie! Amen.
