There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories. |
Thirty-Six in About Six Hours Another decision that I need to make. After all, I not only did I work on my second Short Story earlier today at work, but I also worked on my Water Wars scriptwriting project. that means this blog entry could go into either my ‘Other Than Scriptwriting,’ or ‘Only My Scriptwriting’ blogs. I only spent three hours on my second Short Story before I finished it, and about six hours on this scriptwriting project. So, physically my scriptwriting project was twice as long as my second Short Story. Given that time frame, I should put this in my ‘Only My Scriptwriting’ blog. I’m not sure I want to do that, though. True, my Water Wars project was twice as long, but typically I would be working on one of those projects anyway. If not Water Wars, then it would be The Final Ritual, or one of my other scriptwriting projects. What I’m trying to write is that it’s different this week because of the two short stories I had to write at work. Well, it was closer to about one and a half short stories, but the concept is the same. I still had to handwrite them at work too. True, I haven’t transcribed my handwriting to my laptop yet, but I got almost a whole week to do that. Including the first three being my days off from work. Even with other obligations, I still should be able to create and post these two short stories. Don’t know if I will be able to enter these contests before I go back to work next Wednesday evening/Thursday morning. I think that I can do it despite what my brother and I, or just me, need to do during my days off from work. If I can’t I still have two days to enter them. I don’t like to wait until the last second to enter a contest. Well, that isn’t exactly true. Most of the time, I do wait until almost the last second, but that doesn’t mean I like to do it that way. After all, if something happens, I risk not entering a contest or contests. Contests, as usual, this month. That’s enough about my short stories this month. Now it’s time for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. as my blog title indicates, I did thirty-six single paragraphs in six hours. It should have been a lot more than that, but something happened in the last hour of my shift earlier today, and I didn’t feel like doing any more writing that day. True, half of those thirty-six were three-line paragraphs. That meant I did six four-line paragraphs, and twelve five-line paragraphs too. It also means that I finished writing the Story Outline for Episode One, Some of the Adults, and started working on Episode Two, Not Hiding in Darkness. I’m about to start Act Two of Episode Two. Something else I didn’t want to do. |
