March — Most important thing learned as a child
This one is a little tricky... Well, a lot tricky. Some of the things that I can think of are not really that important. Or they are mistaken takes on important things.
"Respect other people," easily becomes, "defer to other people." Where instead of simply respecting, we give up our sense to other people, we allow others to take advantage of the fact that we are mostly OK with letting other people guide the way.
"Learn for yourself," can easily become, "reject other people," or "don't listen to what others say." It also can lead to isolation where you are learning for yourself, rather than engaging in activities with other people.
I also have a problem with this in that I don't really remember my childhood for the most part. So, while I can think of things which in some cases, I certainly *did* learn, I can't really say much more about them. Or why they may have been important in childhood, and maybe more so, why they are still important.
