Happiness Port Project for 2023

Feb 18th - Happiness

There are days
Happiness is over-rated.
When I'm in a contemplative mood.

It's not that I'm unhappy, per se;
It's just that I'm not over the moon giddy.
There's something for that, I guess.

I'm looking for a direction,
I'm wanting to be useful;
Getting to a place of acceptance
Is not/has not been easy.

I'm not unhappy,
Far from it.
Perhaps a better word would be content -
But I'm not even sure of that word.

So going on, Seeking the One who holds
My life, and the
Answers that I seek;
I will trust in Him.
