How do we deal with prejudices?

1. definitions of prejudice

1. preconceived opinion that is not based on reason or actual experience.

2.
in LAW:
harm or injury that results or may result from some action or judgment.

We haven't walked a mile in someone's shoes; we have no right to judge them. Heck, we aren't supposed to be judging, anyway. God is the judge. We are here to offer light, compassion, and love. That doesn't mean embracing the sin, but rather the sinner. We all fall short, there is none righteous - no not one, according to Paul. It is God's grace and mercy toward us that we can call ourselves children of God. Our prejudices can also cause harm, because it is reflecting us, rather than God. This can turn away anyone from God's love, and God said it is better a millstone be tied around our necks and to be drowned rather than to cause someone to run from God.

Anyway, that is my ponderings on this. Didn't mean to be "preachy". *FacePalm*
