How do we grow our strength in the Lord?


The prayer prompt really hits home. The week I spent in the hospital, if not for county of Lubbock help, would have run me 110,000 dollars...I'm so very grateful that my portion was only 100 or so dollars.


5 Ways to Strengthen Your Relationship with God

Humble Yourself and Pray. - acknowledging that you and I are dependent on our Father for strength.
Read and Study Your Bible. - Just as food nourishes our body, reading the word nourishes our spirit.
Join a Group of Like-Minded Believers. - iron sharpens iron - no man is an island -
Do for Others. - Faith w/o works is dead.
Seek Out Your Spiritual Gifts. God has blessed us with at least one spiritual gift. We need to nurture and grow our gift(s) that we might be a blessing to others, and be joyful in our obedience to God.

That's my two cents' worth today.
