Around Five Hundred Words
Left for this Short Story

I don’t know if it’s my laptop, my Office Word Program, or both, but my laptop and Word are running very slowly today. Don’t why it’s doing it, but it is. So, this blog entry may be kind of small today. Not because I don’t have anything to write about, but because of my slowness problem. I don’t want to miss another blog day if I can help it.

It has been a very normal second day off from work. My brother and I were very, very busy today. It started very early this morning, and it didn’t finish until almost the evening hours started. We didn’t have a lot that needed to be done today, but what we did need to do took us most of the day to do it. As a result, I haven’t gotten too much writing done today.

Don’t get me wrong, I did get some writing done on my first Short Story for this month. Unfortunately, I didn’t get as much as I wanted. I wanted to get it all done today. After all, this is the last day of the first half of this month. I didn’t expect to get this Short Story finished today. True, I was hoping for it, but I didn’t think it would happen.

Still have about five hundred words before I can finish writing this Short Story. That probably wouldn’t be too much of a problem for me to do tomorrow, but it might be. My brother and I have another all-dayer or almost an all-dayer. What does that mean for my writing? Normally, five hundred words wouldn’t take me too long to finish. I could do it relatively easily in one day.

Considering what needs to be done tomorrow and how long it’s going to take us to do it, I may not get this first Short Story finished tomorrow before I go back to work tomorrow night at midnight. I’m going to try to get it done tomorrow, but I don’t think I will get it finished. I hope that I do, but I’m doubtful I will be able to get it finished.
