My Latest Short Story So Far

I have got another Short Story to write this month if I can get to it. So, I have been working on my WDC Short Story today. Not because I have another Short Story this month, but because I want to get it done first. Does that make any sense? It doesn’t to me, and I’m the one writing it. That happens sometimes when I write these blog entries freehand. I just let my fingers go wild and write whatever they want me to write.

Today has been a somewhat typical first day off from work aka a Monday. My brother and I had a lot that needed doing today. As a result, I didn’t get too much writing as I would have liked to do. don’t get me wrong. What needed to be done didn’t take us as long to do as it usually does. That means I didn’t have a lot of time to work on this Short Story, but the little time I did have I used it to my advantage.

I’ve got about five hundred words written today. Add that to what I did last week, and I have almost half of this WDC Short Story finished. I’m hoping to get the other half finished tomorrow. Then again, I might not. My brother and I don’t have a lot to do tomorrow, but we do have at least one thing that may take us most of the day to do. As a result, I may not get this short story finished by tomorrow after all.

It could still be tomorrow, but I doubt it. If I can get another five hundred words done tomorrow, I should be able to finish it on Wednesday before I go back to work. I don’t know if I can do that or not, but I’m going to give it a try. What’s the worst that can happen? I won’t get the second Short Story written. I’m still going to try to do both, but my WDC Short Story takes top priority as to whether I get them both done or not.

I think that I can do both, but if I can’t, I will get at least my first Short Story written aka the WDC Short Story. Want to do both, but if I can’t get this Short Story written this week, I may not be able to get them both written. still think that I can get both of them written, but I’m sure I can get at least the first one written aka my WDC Short Story for this month. If only I had another week like last month.

Unfortunately, I don’t this month. Which is kind of ironic since it’s the shortest month of the year. Whether I get both of them written or not, I will get the first one written aka the WDC Short Story. I probably would be able to do it if I still had my laptop at work, but I don’t. as a result, I don’t know if I’m going to get both of these short stories written or not. I hope that I do, but I might not be able to do both.
