365 Days of Blessing _ February 3, 2023

Dear God,

How meager was my strength in a test of my faith yesterday. My struggle took me to the edge of my patience. The door to the garage was torqued and would not open by way of the opener, nor could I muscle it up. Did I turn to You, Lord? No! I considered the repairman and his lack of getting the door fixed. I was mystified by my inability to physically open the door.

We were going to the store. An outing as it were and I melted in my frustration. Yes, I have repented for my ineptitude as a Disciple of Jesus, but at the same time I am back to the rudimentary truths about spiritual warfare to rearm myself to war against a stronghold that still exists in my mind.

ACTS 3:19-21

Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.

that time of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, and that He may send the Christ appointed for you, Jesus,

whom heaven must receive until the time for restoring all the things about which God spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets long ago.

My refreshing has come from the Lord, and now I train my fingers for war!

2 Corinthians 10:3 I train myself to take every thought captive to the obedience in Christ. Casting down reasonings, and every high thing that exalts itself against God. I will continue to meditate on these truths.
