Finished It Barely

Today wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. Normally, on Wednesdays, I get to sit back and relax before I go to work at midnight tonight, but that wasn’t the way it happened today. Don’t get me wrong. It wasn’t non-stop things that my brother and I needed to get done today, but it wasn’t that mundane either.

My brother and I didn’t have a lot that needed doing today, but we did have a few things that needed doing. luckily, it didn’t take us all day to do them. We got them done toward the end of the middle of the afternoon. So, I had plenty of time to finish up the only Short Story that I’m writing this month.

If I had more than three parts to write to finish this Short Story, I probably wouldn’t have finished it almost seconds before I started writing this blog for today. Especially, since I had a lot of re-writing to do to keep it under the two thousand word limitation for this Short Story.

As I just wrote, I had a lot of re-writing to do to finish this Short Story, and not all of it was in the last three parts. I had to tweak the whole second half of it to keep it under two thousand words. That wasn’t easy to do because of the last part, but I did it.

I didn’t just finish this Short Story, though. I also wrote a Shameless Plug and a Please Review. I’m still not sure if I’m going to post them, but since I have an extra week before this contest entry is due I probably will. First thing first, I need to create it before I can do anything additional to it.

I’m not sure when I will be able to create this Short Story. After all, I don’t have time to do it before I go to work in less than two hours. I will create it within the next day or two. It will probably be tomorrow, but it could be Friday before I can do it. One day or another I will be creating it soon.

Speaking of work, I’m heading back there tonight at midnight. That means I’m going to be returning to my second scriptwriting project, The Final Ritual. I’m not sure where I left off on that, but I think that I just started working on my Scene Outline. I may be a little bit further along than I thought on it, though.

Don’t know how much scriptwriting I will get done on this Scene Outline, but I’m hoping to get about ten to fifteen single paragraphs written on it. Of course, I would like to get more written, and it’s not impossible I can do that, but I’m not going to count on that happening until it happens.
