Too Much Needed to be Done Today

Unfortunately, I didn’t get any writing done on my only Short Story for this month, Time for a Change. Well, that isn’t exactly true. It’s true, I didn’t get anything physically written on this Short Story. I did have plenty of time to think about it, though. If my thinking could be hooked up to a Recorder, I would already have this Short Story finished. Unfortunately, I don’t.

Why didn’t a get any writing done on this Short Story today? What is the usual reason why I don’t get any writing done on my days off from work? That’s right. It’s because of what my brother and I had to do today, and today we had quite a bit that needed doing. it started very, very early this morning, and it ended just before the sun officially set for the day.

As I wrote above, I did think about this Short Story all day today. Now all I need to do is transfer that thinking to my Short story, and I should be able to do that tomorrow before I go back to work at midnight. I don’t know how many of the ten parts I will be getting written, but I’m hoping it to be at least two or three. More than that would be even better.

Of course, I would like to get it completely written tomorrow, but I know that isn’t going to happen. True, physically it could happen. Especially, if I don’t turn on the television. I’m just not going to count on it until it happens. After all, I have thought that before only for it not to happen for one reason or another. I’m not going to count on anything before it happens.

At work, I can watch television shows and movies on my tablet and still write, but at home, I can’t do that. Well, once again, that isn’t exactly true. I can do it at home, but it’s a lot slower and I seem to have a lot more problems concentrating on what I want to write than I do with my television being on. So, it’s best if I don’t have my television on when I’m writing at home.
