365 Days of Blessing _ January 13, 2023

Dear God,

How strong was Your admonition to visit my friend Alex today. I've not seen him at church in a while, but then J and I have been out with sickness for several Sunday's now.

Thank You for watching over my friend and his wife. I said some things about children today, and I saw the sadness overtake him. What was that? They are young and You know their heart. I pray that what was troubling would not be associated with any lack they may be suffering right now. Heal A & K with Your loving touch and help them in their daily walk with You. Thank You.

1 JOHN 3:21-23

Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him. And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.

You know O Lord, that love is not my way. How skeptical of love my tiny heart has been. I seldom embrace the fellowship of the ones I should love. But You have given me a love for A & K and I want to honor them in every way possible. They reached out their hands to me and J as though we were their long lost grand parents. You know how endearing that is for us. There sincerity has been overwhelming sometimes. And I love them, as I love You. Please help them be more knit together as they grow together as newly weds. If it is children they want please bless them with the child that will joy in the love my friends have to give. You are a faithful Father, and I pray that You would give Your servants the desires of their heart. In Jesus' name. Amen.
