One-Third Written

I’m still feeling very bad. This morning when I got up, I wasn’t feeling too bad. I thought that may the cold I was fighting had lost this time. Unfortunately, that didn’t last very long. By the time I started writing this blog entry, I was starting to feel bad again. Don’t know if I have a fever or not, but I think that I may have a light one.

Luckily, during the early afternoon, I wasn’t feeling so bad. So, I did get some writing done on my WDC Short Story for this month. Got the first one-third of it finished. That’s about six hundred and sixty words. I probably could have gotten a little bit more written, but my laptop started acting up again. Going really slow, constantly buffering, and things like that. Was starting to think it was about to crash again.

After I finally got to save what I had written so far, I closed it. That took quite a while too. Once that was closed, the laptop got turned off. It also took a long time to do, but it finally turned off. When I started it up again, everything appeared to be okay. I still don’t know why it happened that way. I’m just happy it didn’t crash again.

It took me about a half hour before I could start working on this Short Story again. If not for that half hour, I would have been about halfway through this Short Story. True, one-third is good, but it could have been better. now I have a big decision to make. Do I continue working on this WDC Short Story at work tomorrow morning or do I continue with my scriptwriting?

The way that I’m feeling right now, I don’t think I’m going to feel like doing any scriptwriting tonight because of the cold that I’m fighting. If I didn’t get any writing done, I probably would be re-writing some of it anyway. maybe even more than some. I don’t know if I can concentrate enough to work on this Short Story, but I think it may be better than my scriptwriting.

I haven’t decided yet what I’m going to do, but it will probably be this WDC Short Story. Don’t know if I can get it done tomorrow or not, but I most likely will get more written that I do with my scriptwriting, and I probably won’t need to re-write it. If I can get another one-third written that would be great for me. I’m not going to count on anything until it happens, though.
