There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories. |
Getting a Cold is Never Fun Up until a couple of years ago, I hadn’t had a Cold or Flu in quite a few years. I’m not sure how long it had been before, but it was about eight to ten years, I think. Maybe a year or two one way or another. If I remember correctly, I think I had two last year. This year I believe this is my third one. It may be my second, but I don’t think so. Why am I getting these Colds or Flus? Part of it is probably because of my age. At sixty-two I’m more adaptable to getting sick. I also have mild Cerebral Palsy. That may be a factor too. It also may be work-related. It can get kind of cold where I work. It’s probably a combination of several of these. Maybe even all of them. Whatever the reason, it looks like I’m getting another Cold. Hopefully, it won’t end up being the Flu or worse. I don’t think it’s Covid-19, but it could be that too. What does all of this mean for my writing? It means I haven’t gotten any writing done on my WDC Short Story for this month. It’s not just me getting a Cold or Flu as for me not getting any writing except this blog entry done today. My brother and I had a lot that needed doing today too. It started extremely early this morning. Soon as the sun officially came up and ended almost went the sun officially went down. Between the two are the reasons why I haven’t gotten any writing done today on this Short Story. Don’t get me wrong. It hasn’t been a total waste of a day when it comes to my writing. True, I haven’t physically written anything. I have thought about this Short Story a lot. Mentally, I have already written it. Now all I need to do is physically do it. Unfortunately, I only have one more day this week to do that. The only other solution is to continue to work on it at work when I return there tomorrow just before midnight on Thursday morning. If I’m still fighting this Cold or Flu, I may just do that. After all, the way I will be feeling I probably won’t get too much writing done on my scriptwriting. That may be true for this Short Story, but out of the two this Short Story is more important. |
