If I Remember Correctly

I’m not sure without looking it up. And I don’t have time to do that right now. But I think that I had barely started part five of the first chapter of my novel, Professional Eliminators. If that’s true, then I may have a chance to finish this chapter after all. Probably won’t be able to even get started in chapter two. That’s okay with me. I did the best I could do with this challenge. It just wasn’t close to the goal I wanted to get.

Why am I writing about my novel, Professional Eliminators, when I still haven’t finished the WDC Short Story that I’m writing for this month? It’s because I’m almost finished writing this Short Story. At the most, I have about four hundred words left to write to finish this Short Story. And it shouldn’t take me too long to do that. So, I should have plenty of time to try to finish writing chapter one of my novel.

It all depends on how long it takes me to finish writing my Short Story for the WDC contest as to if I will be able to finish writing Chapter One of my novel. The sooner I get my Short Story contest entry finished, the more of a chance I get Chapter One finished too. After all, I have about a thousand words in total to write to finish part five of this chapter. I’m just not sure how many words I need to finish Chapter One of this novel.

I can’t remember how far along I was with part five of Chapter One. But I don’t think it was much more than a hundred words I have written so far. Maybe a couple of hundred words at the most. That means I still have around eight to nine hundred words left to write to finish this chapter. But it may still be about a thousand. After all, part fives are the more action-oriented part. No matter what I have written so far, I still may need around a thousand words to finish this chapter.

If I can get my WDC Short Story finished in three or four hours of my shift tomorrow morning at work, then I will have about seven or eight hours to finish Chapter One too. Normally, that may be hard to do. But it is part five. So, I may be able to do it. It all depends on how soon I get my WDC Short Story for this month finished. I think that I can get both finished tomorrow at work. But I’m not going to count on anything until it happens.
