So many aspects
of being woken up

So many choices to make

Wake before
or wake after?

I'm awake now
It's not 5 AM yet

So I've woken early
to ensure
everything is smooth.

I don't have to do anything

But I just choose
to be awake.

Awake in case I'm needed.

Not for anyone else,

that I'm a responsible adult.
