No Time for Writing Today

It has been a typical first day off from work. My brother and I have been very busy today. And it started very early this morning. From early this morning until almost before I started writing this blog entry, we have been busy doing things that needed to be done. That’s how busy it has been today for us.

Physically, I haven’t been able to do any writing until I started writing this blog entry a few minutes ago. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t thought about what I wanted to write regarding the third Outline for the October Prep Challenge. I was wrong in doing that, though. Should be writing my second Short Story.

I didn’t think about that until now. Only a few days left to finish my second Short Story for this challenge. Don’t want to write it at work like I did the last one. Hopefully, I won’t be doing that this week. Especially, since I’m missing the first day of my work week.

Of course, I wrote the first Short Story in one day at work. And it was a weekday. So, there’s no reason why I can’t do it again this week if I need to do it. But I would rather not risk being able to get it done in one day again. It would be best if I got it done before I return to work. That’s what I need to try to do.

If I can get it done in the next three days, then I will be able to return to working on my third Outline for this Challenge. And the sooner I do that the better. After all, I don’t have too much longer before that is due too. But the second Short Story is due before then. So, that takes precedence over my third Outline.

I’m not exactly sure when the third Outline is due. But I think that I have a couple of weeks to three weeks to finish it. I only have a few days to finish the second Short Story. That’s not going to be easy to do considering it’s the Antagonist Short Story. And my Protagonist is sort of my Antagonist too because Collina was a Professional Eliminator. What we call here on Earth an Assassin.

Will I start writing this Short Story after I finish writing and posting this blog entry. I know that I should. And I also know that I’m going to try to do it. But I probably won’t. at least not physically. I may be able to get the breakdown of it before I go to sleep tonight. But probably won’t get down to writing it until hopefully tomorrow.
