Just the Two Short Stories Today

Don’t have too much to write about today. I did get a lot of writing done today on the two short stories that I’m writing for this month. Unfortunately, it’s not the stories themselves. What do I mean by that? It means that I have set up each story with a title, a title description, and the sections/parts to them. But I haven’t physically started writing either one of them yet.

Why didn’t I get started on the WDC Short Story today? It’s because of what I needed to do today. And there was quite a bit. Not counting what I needed to do to get ready for work in just over an hour and a half from the time of this blog entry. Unfortunately, I didn’t know we needed to do anything today. Usually, I don’t on Wednesday because it’s a workday for me. Even though, I start work until Thursday at midnight.

Since I don’t usually do anything before, I go to work on Wednesday, I slept until noon my time aka one PM WDC time. If I had known about what needed to be done, I would have gotten up earlier to do them. And if I had done that, I may have gotten a part/section or two written today on my first Short Story for this month. I would like to blame my brother for this. But I don’t think that I can this time.

I don’t think he knew about most of what we needed to get done today that much before noon. Otherwise, he would have gotten me up. Of course, I would have gotten mad at him for waking me up so early. But we could have gotten everything done in time for me to get more writing done. Then again, maybe it wouldn’t have helped me. It may have even stopped me from doing what I did to get finished.

What do I mean by that last sentence? It means I would probably be a little sleepy if I had gotten up a little earlier than noon. As a result, instead of writing, I would have most likely been dozing off or napping to catch up with my sleep. So, maybe it was a good thing that I didn’t get up a little earlier today after all. It may have turned out worse for my writing if I had of done it.

So, what does this mean for my two short stories for this month? It may mean one of two things. One thing is that I may have to do some writing after I wake up during the days that I work to get a section/part or two written. Especially, for my WDC Short Story for this month. The other thing is that I may need to work on them while at work. At least I can do that now. I couldn’t do that in my last post.
