A poem a day keeps the cobwebs off my keyboard.

Restrictions: None
Fair Warning
My toaster has a label:
“Don’t use this in the bath”
Suggesting that if I do so,
I won’t like the aftermath.

The matchbook cover cautions:
“Use could result in fire”
(a warning that seems unnecessary
to even the dimmest buyer).

“Don’t drink the drain cleaner!”
“You could get stuck to glue!”
But why was there no heads-up
on the dangers of loving you?
