went right ahead and did it anyway.

Look where it got you!
Attempting a logical explanation,
when there was no logic to your actions.

Don't just stand there, looking sheepish.
Don't remain silent. Say something!
Apologize and help clean up this mess.

Prompt: As cake is birthday-adjacent, and as Marie Antoinette famously did not say, "let them eat cake", today's prompt is: THINGS NOT SAID You may take this any way you choose, but it must clearly relate back to the prompt.
