Drying Flowers

Drying flowers upside down
takes a little time.
Lasting mem'ries are the crown,
wonderful and prime.

Drying flowers in a book,
pressing matters, all.
Squeeze them hard, and don't you look,
until the years do call.

Drying flowers in wax paper
'neath the iron's heat.
Firm the middle, then you taper.
Treasure's Past, a treat.

Drying flowers, write the date,
label what it is.
When you see them later, great!
You'll forgo the quiz.
