Three and a Half Sections/Parts

That’s right. I got three and a half sections/parts written earlier today at work for my WDC Short Story that I’m writing for this month’s contest. But it should have been at least four parts/sections. The only reason that it wasn’t four is that there were a few problems at work that I needed to get done.

Nothing serious that needed doing. It also didn’t take that long to do them. But it took enough time that I couldn’t get the fourth section/part finished. It wasn’t just what needed to get done at work, though. My replacement was also a factor in me not getting the fourth part/section finished too. As usual, he came in about a half hour early for work. If I had that thirty minutes, I probably would have finished section/part four.

This leaves me only three and a half parts/sections that I need to right to finish writing this WDC Short Story. Will I get it done at work tomorrow? I should get it finished. After all, I did the same amount of writing today at work. So, there is no reason why I can’t do it again tomorrow. Of course, I may have some more problems tomorrow at work. But if I do, I hope that they are serious ones too.

Will I get started on my second Short Story that I’m writing for this month tomorrow too? Probably not. But if I do, it most likely won’t be too much. Maybe a section/part if I’m lucky. If I’m really lucky, I may get two parts/sections on this Short Story. It all depends on if I have any problems at work tomorrow. How serious these problems will be. And how long it will take to finish them.

I don’t know if I will finish writing my WDC Short Story for this month tomorrow at work or if I will be able to start working on my section Short Story that I’m planning on writing for this month. But I think that I can do it. At least I can when it comes to my WDC Short Story. That is my main objective for this month.

Of course, I want to do the second Short Story too. But if I don’t get it done, it won’t be a big deal to me. I want to get them both written. And I think that I can do both of them. But if I can’t, I need to get the WDC one done most of all. I know that I won’t win this contest. Because I never do. But that isn’t why I enter this contest. It’s because I like a challenge. And this month is a very good one.
