There is a lot within me Other Than Scriptwriting. This blog is devoted to those stories.

I Finally Almost Finished It
I Finally Almost Finished It

It’s true that I have finally finished my second Short Story for this month. But it’s not quite ready to be created or posted to this contest just yet. And it’s not because I haven’t done a Grammarly check on it yet. It’s true, I haven’t done that yet. But the main reason why I haven’t created it on WDC yet is because of the two-thousand-word count limitation for this contest. I’m a little over that.

It isn’t as bad as it usually is, though. I’m often over the word count limitation by a whole lot more than twenty-nine. Sometimes it’s even in the hundreds or two hundreds. So, it’s not as bad as it reads above. This Short Story still needs to be cut down to under two thousand words before it’s officially finished.

I’m going to start redoing that as soon as I get to work today, tomorrow to me. I already started to do it yesterday at work. But I haven’t physically started removing any words or rearranging them to get rid of the words I need to get rid of so that this Short Story can be created.

Unfortunately, I don’t know how long it will take to eliminate at least twenty-nine words. And I would like it to be about double to triple that or more. But as long as it’s two thousand or less I will be happy. Sometimes I can eliminate the words I need to eliminate very quickly. And sometimes it can take a while to do.

I hope it’s not going to be the latter of the two. The sooner I can eliminate these words, the sooner I will be finished with this Short Story officially too. Not only that, but I will be ready to start working on my scriptwriting again. Too bad I still haven’t decided on which scriptwriting project I want to continue working on first. I want to continue working on them both. But I know that I can’t do that.

I’ve got some time to think about which one to continue to work on until I finish with my second Short Story for this month. And hopefully, that isn’t going to take me too long to do. I’m thinking about returning to my second scriptwriting project, The Final Ritual. After all, I’m almost done writing the Scene Outlines for my Water Wars project. I haven’t even gotten that for with my second one.

Whichever scriptwriting project I decide to continue on next is up in the air until I finish with this Short Story. This Short Story comes first. Then I will decide which one of my scriptwriting projects I will continue on. It will probably be The Final Ritual. But you never know when it comes to me.
