G. The Queen's Croquet Ground

G. The Queens Croquet Ground

1. "A Most Ridiculous Game" - Invent a new game. It could be the most nonsensical or sensical as long as two or more players can participate in it. It should come with rules and guidelines on how its to be played. (<1000 words)

The Nothing Game

The newest game is called the ‘The Nothing Game’. I stumbled across this idea one night as I tried to sleep.

What you do is gather a group of people in a circle. It has to be at least two, preferably three or more for even more fun. Then those people stand in that circle for at least half an hour.

The people don’t have to anything if they don’t want to. That is the beauty of the game. The title is ‘The Nothing Game’. Nothing goes on in ‘The Nothing Game’. After those thirty minutes have expired, everyone can leave. Or they can leave after ten minutes, or one minute, or thirty seconds. It’s ‘The Nothing Game’. There are no rules for nothing.

That is, unless someone comes up with a better idea for a game. Participants can run around, they can talk, they can exchange notes, they can judge each other’s dress, they can gossip. But then, that would be something. Then you would need a new name for this new game.

No points will be tallied, because that would void the idea of doing nothing.
