2. “Drink Me/Eat Me”.

Create a new drink/beverage and a dish – from your imagination – that should be appealing (or not) to the reader.


New recipe creations from my new chef are being tested today. Chef claims these recipes are old family favorites from her country of Outlandia.

Chef Hermione takes great pride in presenting to us an entree known as roasted breast of newt with a sauce of beurre negre. The newt was gently seared with black garlic and black butter. After that searing, it was left in the oven for three weeks. This gives the newt time to caramelize and age properly. The chef will serve this dish with buttered danday eggs and pickled english knuckles.

With great thought and planning, Chef Hermione will serve the beverage known lovingly in Outlandia as ‘Baby Wine’. Small newborn hamsters are dropped into alcohol, such as wine or whiskey, where they drown. After a time, usually a year, the beverage is strained and drunk. This beverage is said to cure many problems, including asthma and cancer. It is an acquired taste.
