Forgiveness

Prompt: Write about forgiveness.

Forgiveness. Jesus tells us we need to forgive people for the things they do to us. I forgive everyone for the things they did to me. I can't forget the hurtful words. I pray God helps me with this. It is hard to forgive but God wants you to so you do because you know it is the right thing to do. Pray about it. You don't have to hang out with the person who hurt you but forgive them and wish them well and pray for that person. You let go of the anger but the hurt may take awhile. Forgive the person. Ask God for help and understanding. Don't hold any pinned up anger. Love them. I had a minister tell me she loves everyone but she doesn't always like them. I get that. Pray for people you don't love but ask God to help you love them and forgive them. You will feel better when you forgive someone.
