I remember when I was small
my hands grew in fits and starts
I remember when I was small
my dreams drew reality along
I remember when I was small
my heart was broken by many things
I remember when I was small
my fate was far from in my hands
I remember when I was small
my heart grew scars and I grew tough
I remember when I was small
my hope was small and the world was large
I remember when I was small
my mom was always there to kiss it and make it better
Despite it all, I wish I were still small.
