Some things become embedded
in the culture, like stars at night,
strewn across the skies of our memories.
If it’s not unusual, Tom Jones is there,
satisfaction belongs to the Stones,
all the Beatles ever need is love,
Nat King Cole becomes unforgettable,
and Mr Dylan is blowing in the wind.
