Irish Traditions

Prompt: Lyn asked us about Irish writers and Irish tradations.

I don't know much about Irish writers. Irish traditions.

Bridget. The Pagan Celtic Goddess. They make a green cross in her honor. She is the Goddess of fertility and harvest.

Irish dancing. I do love River Dancing. I love Irish music.

A lone fairy tree. If you chop it down, you will have bad luck.

Halloween originated in Halloween. Warding off evil spirits, dressing up, Jack o lanterns, spooks, blsck cats and goblins. Halloween is a tradition all over.

St. Patricks Day. Green beer, leprachauns, luck of the Irish; driving snakes out of Ireland. A holiday celebrated all over.

I do enjoy the Irish.
