Return to me

Dust drifts over dull-white snow,
painting frozen ripples
shades of mustard, red or tan.

Blue skies bring no relief from drought
as brown fields thirst, and Silence
greets those who stumble by.

For The Land has spoken:
All Life returns to Me.
