I Need To Eat More!
That's what my calorie log stated after I entered everything for the day. I was too low on calories. How? I don't think I could eat anymore if I tried, I'm full!

I know, I could have eaten more at breakfast. But, I was still feeling full from dinner yesterday, and it's hard to eat when you're not hungry. Besides, I'm not much of a breakfast person anyway; I have seldom been able to eat right after I get up.

Usually, by lunchtime, I'm getting hungry. Not ravished, but a bit of an appetite. But today, I just wasn't feeling hungry; I had no desire to eat. So Rhonda and I went shopping for some different things, including grocery shopping.

Most of the time, if we are going shopping for food, we eat first to prevent buying a lot of junk foods. But, even as we browsed through the grocery aisles, I didn't feel compelled to buy anything other than what was on our list. Only by the time we left the store and began our drive home did I start to feel a need to eat.

I joking told Rhonda we should stop for Chinese but in truth, I was looking forward to our planned dinner. Once home, Rhonda began fixing your Cheesy Veggie Soup and as the smell filled the house, I found myself getting hungrier.

By the time it was ready, I took a portion of each food and enjoyed it. I could have stopped there, I wasn't really full, but I was satisfied. However, I knew I needed more calories so I went back for seconds and took another portion of both the soup and the meat. I barely finished it and if I ate more, I knew I would be full to the point of being miserable.

Now, about four hours later, I'm still feeling full, but I need more calories. I'm doing good on my macro-nutrients and my Keto is balanced very well, but I'm short over a thousand calories! Most days it's just a few hundred I'm shy.

With so low an intake of calories, you would think I would be tired, hungry all the time, and feeling the effects. But it's just the opposite, I'm feeling good, I'm sleeping better, I have more energy, and I'm losing weight, but not super quickly. I dropped two pounds over the last week, and am down nine pounds since the beginning of the year.
