Just a quick blog entry this time, something that is brand new to me as a person who puts words on paper for a living.
Tonight, I heard the opening chapter of an audiobook one of the publishers is putting together of one of my books. I had to choose the voice actor a month ago, and he is doing a fine job, even if it is odd hearing my Australian words spoken by a United Estatian (albeit with distinct British undertones).
But what is the wierdest is simply hearing some-one else say my words. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Has anyone else been through this? It's not something I was ready for as a writerer. Audiobooks... so odd...
