An Inscription in an Old Bible
That 'Abdu'l-Baha Wrote

"THIS book is the Holy Book of God, of celestial Inspiration. It is the Bible of Salvation, the Noble Gospel. It is the mystery of the Kingdom and its light. It is the Divine Bounty, the sign of the guidance of God."

On Sunday, September 10, 1911,
the congregation of the City Temple in London, England
was blessed by the presence of 'Abdu'l-Baha.

He spoke about
about the unity of humanity
and the single foundation of all religions,
referring to them as God's gift
to us in this illumined age.

I meditate upon his words,
contemplating the meaning
in my heart:

The Holy Bible
God's word inscribed
on the Parchment of history.

Salvation's verses written
in the blood of the faithful.

Abraham's sacrifice accepted,
at the time of the end,
when heart by heart
the Glory of God constructs
the Kingdom of God on Earth.
