Week 46: Mighty Things Luke 1 46:49

46 And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord

47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior.

48 For He hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.

49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things and holy is his name.

Two Challenges:

What about Mary's response is most surprising to you?

Make a list of the things, small or great the Lord has done for you recently.

Mary has wisdom and was willing to do what God asked of her. She was devoted. She trusted him. Nothing surprises me about Mary. I mean this in a good way. I wish I was more like her. I admire her.

What the Lord has done for me recently:
1. Gives me another day.
2. Keeps me safe when I am driving.
3. We aren't short of money.
4. God watches over my mother's cat who disappeared for 3 days.
5. I have a home and car to drive.
6. I may not always think so but the Lord is watching over my health issues. He answers prayer in his own time. This is hard for me but I keep praying and ask for my faith to be stronger.
