The Path of Grace:
To 'Abdu'l-Baha

By faith he walked The Path of Grace,
The path that helps us to embrace
Service to God and humanity.

         O Lord, in his obedience to Thee,
         His soul ascended pure and free
         Upon the wings of certitude.

All his life God's abounding love he had known,
So he did not walk The Path alone:
Beside him walked the Holy Spirit.

         O Lord, we turn to Thee,
         Please help us to be,
         Steadfast servants in Thy Path.

He walked through matters night,
Trusting in the God's glorious light
To lead him on his chosen path.

         O Lord, we ask of Thee,
         Please help us to see,
         The joyous path of servitude.

He did not doubt God's might,
To guide his footsteps aright,
In his service to God's cause.

         O Lord, we beg of Thee,
         To answer our plea,
         To follow in his footsteps.
