The fact of the matter is that none of us would be changed if we had to change ourselves. We could make superficial changes but nothing permanent and meaningful. Change comes about by faith and faith is a gift of the Holy Spirit. Without His help we are just spinning our wheels. ![]() ![]()
Most people do not know that the bald eagle does not make the "screaming sound" we hear depicted on television. Producers found out that the eagle actually makes a very feeble croaking like noise so they adopted the screaming "cawww, cawww" sound of the red tail hawk to symbolize the "sound" of the eagle. An eagle's call is not intimidating at all, though it's physique certainly is. An eagle can spot a mouse on the ground from 2 miles away and can dive at speeds in excess of 125 MPH! Their wing span can exceed six feet wide, wider than an average man is tall! I had my picture taken with Freedom, an Eagle kept by a ranger in Clarksburg WV but cannot find the picture. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
