Familiar trails [Week 15 entry]

Familiar trails


Around the loop or 'round the block?
We change it up, when we go walk.
We might go right and wave to Al,
or help a puppy find his pal.

When we go left you like it best,
and more folks get to see us dressed
in clothing styles that match, perhaps,
with nifty shades and baseball caps.

We sometimes pass that big blue van
that never seems to move, but can.
You wave at cars and every bus,
we take our time and never rush.

I point out flags, and planes up high
that leave their markers in the sky.
I love these little walks with you.
They help you learn, 'cuz you're just two.
