My insane weekend is over. I started out Saturday with a rummage sale. It was all day and of course the Men's Club at church participated. We sold hot dogs. Altogether we raised a total of $572.00 to go toward building a perimeter fence. Next month we are doing a chili cookoff with men competing against women. I personally think the women will win that. We'll see. I know I had fun and got to serve the Lord at the same time.

Intimacy with God is when you trust God enough to confess your deepest, darkest secrets to Him and discuss them with Him. Many of us like to pretend we are hiding that part of us from God but we aren't. God already knows it. Intimacy is when we trust Him enough to confess it to Him and discuss it with Him. Intimacy is knowing God well enough to know we can trust His grace in any situation.


Today we cruised near Maximus Prime and then flew to delta quadrant with Ryker, Data, Jane Way, and Spock. Spock and Data had some interesting discussions! On the way we passed the star (1568) and visited the planet.

I love history. I believe that those who are not students of history are doomed to repeat it. There is no mistake that we can make today that has not already been made in the past.
