Seven Isn’t Too Good for a Weekend

It’s also not a bad thing getting seven scenes written for the second part of my movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. Especially, since I did them on a very busy Saturday. Not only was it very busy with work, but it was also busy with the construction going on there. Both made my job a whole lot worse yesterday.

It is kind of surprising that I got seven written yesterday consider all that happened there. I know that I was. And I’m the one who wrote them. Don’t how it happened, though. Once I started writing I couldn’t stop myself from doing it. The only things that did stop me were work and the construction going on there. And neither one of them was that much of a distraction either.

For a Saturday, work was very busy. Especially, during the first three hours when the construction was still going on. It was also very busy during the last couple of hours. But that didn’t have anything to do with construction. Well, that isn’t exactly true. It was the aftermath of that construction that made my job harder to do during that time. But it was like that the whole day.

I was on my feet a whole lot yesterday at work. That’s what I mean when I wrote that it was harder for me to do. It wasn’t all that bad. But it was bad. It was harder for a couple of reasons. Going outside a lot was one of those reasons. Quite a bit more than I usually do on a Saturday. I’m used to doing it a lot on a Saturday. But this was about double than it usually is.

The second reason is my getting up on my feet while I was inside my guard post too. Every minute or two I had to get up because of work. That’s about ten times more than I usually do on a Saturday. If I wasn’t going outside my guard post, I was getting up on the inside of it. That is how busy it was at work yesterday.

I’m hoping that today will be as good as yesterday. If not a little bit better. I only need six more scenes to finish my re-write of Act Two. And after what happened yesterday there is a very good chance that I can do that. Then again, maybe not. After all, I still have work to deal with. Besides, I haven’t been able to get too much written on a Sunday lately. I should be able to do at least six scenes today at work. but I’m not going to believe that until it happens.
