A blog devoted just to my scriptwriting. That’s all I’m going to blogging about here. |
Three of the Eleven are Establishing Shots That’s right. I wrote eleven scenes for Act Two of the second part of the movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. And that includes three Establishing Shots. That’s very, very good. Especially, considering that I wrote them during a weekday. At least I think that it’s good. I was hoping to get five or six scenes written plus the Establishing Shots. But I got eight instead. Don’t ask me how I did it because I don’t know. As soon as I got to work yesterday, I started working on my re-write of this Act. And I couldn’t stop doing it. The only thing that stopped me from writing is work. And it didn’t slow me down that much. True, it was very busy at work yesterday. But it wasn’t that busy. I still had plenty of time to do my writing. And that’s what I did. As a result, I got eleven scenes written yesterday at work. It helped that I didn’t have to go outside my guard post too much yesterday at work. but I did quite a few times. And most of that was toward the end of my shift. In fact, I don’t think I had to leave it until the third hour into my shift yesterday. Of course, the first two hours and the last two hours of my shift yesterday were the busiest. But the middle four were kind of busy too. That’s not unusual, though. It’s often quite busy during those hours. Especially, when it happens during a weekday. Today, I’m going to continue working on this project. And I hope that I can do as good today as I did yesterday. But I’m not going to count on that happening until it does. After all, I haven’t been able to do it lately on a Thursday because it has been so busy at work. Depending on how busy it gets at work today, I may be lucky if I get another five scenes written. Of course, I hope it’s a little bit more than that. Like writing another eight. But I don’t think that I’m going to get that lucky two weekdays in a row. I’ll be lucky if I get five of them written.
