An Extremely Busy Friday

That is what it was at work yesterday. It was extremely busy there. Yesterday, it was a lot busier than it has been lately. And it has been very, very busy lately. If this one wasn’t the busiest one that I have seen in a long time, it’s a very close second. That’s how busy it was yesterday.

The construction going on at my guard post made it even busier than it already was. It’s no wonder that I only got five scenes written yesterday at work. True, it did end Act Two of the second part of my movie for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. But I should have been able to do a little bit more. Like the two Establishing Shots for Act Three. If not one or two more than that.

Between how busy it was yesterday and the construction going on there, I’m kind of surprised that I did that many. But there is a very good reason why I didn’t do any more besides what happened at work. the last two scenes. They just didn’t feel right when I was writing them. I’m probably going to do a re-write on them.

I have already done one re-write on them. So, in a way, I did do seven scenes yesterday at work. but only five of them count numerically. And those last two I’m going to be doing a re-write on them again. After thinking about them a little bit, now I know what is wrong with them. So, it shouldn’t be too hard for me to re-write them a second time.

The only good part about yesterday is that I didn’t have to go outside as much because of the construction going on there. I still had to several times. But it wasn’t as bad as it could have been. I’m hoping that today will be the same way. And since it’s a Saturday, it may just be.

After I do the re-writes, I’m going to start Act Three. I’m not sure how many scenes for this project that I will get done today. But I’m hoping that it will be a lot. Unfortunately, the way that it has been on a Saturday lately I may be lucky if I get another nine done. That includes the two re-writes and the two Establishing Shots.
