Sharing the Bread of Life:
To 'Abdu'l-Baha

His footsteps reverberate
through Akka,
through Haifa,
through Alexandria,
through Paris,
through London,
through New York,
through Canada1,
across America,
and back to New York.

From 1911 to 1913,
he shared the Bread of Life
and the wine of immortality
on his Journey West2.

'Abdu'l-Baha--
the Servant of Baha,
the Servant of Glory,
and the Servant of God--
proclaimed peace,
unity,
and laid the foundation
of a strong, steadfast Baha'i World Community.
