"Prompt: Galatians 6:9-10 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. What are some ways you look for opportunities to do good?" I consider every situation and opportunity to do good. Sometimes the right thing to do is very pronounced and sometimes it is obscure. However, every situation we encounter is an opportunity to ask ourselves that old cult question that rang so true: "What would Jesus do?" Every situation, whether big or small, is a situation in which we can hate ourselves more and love God and others more. It should always be Jesus first, others second and ourselves dead last. If we follow that rule in every situation we are less likely to sin. Man is so wrapped up in meeting the needs of self that we seldom think of others. If we do we promise to do something for them and then get side tracked with our own cares and forget about them. Putting Jesus first, others second, and worrying about ourselves last pleases God.
